December, Part Five: Christmas Day!

Hooray! Christmas Day was awesome! When I woke up I found that Santa had left a stocking full of fun little presents hanging on my bedroom door, and he’d left some for Mummy and Daddy too! We opened our stocking presents in bed, then went down to see if he’d eaten his snacks and drunk his drinks. He had!

I soon found the huge pile of presents, and right there on the top was a bag with my brown baby doll in it! I was very excited indeed! I decided to name her Emily, or Emma for short.

After spending most of the morning opening presents and talking with the family on the computer, we had a wonderful Christmas lunch that Mummy prepared, with turkey, lots of lovely veggies and potatoes, and little rolls of bacon. I think they must be Daddy’s favourite, because he kept eating them, even before dinner was ready!

Afterwards we drove up the road to Manhattan Beach and took a walk on the pier. It was a beautiful afternoon, and we were there in time to watch the sun set over the ocean. Once the sun went down it got a little chilly, so we headed home for one last play with my new toys, and reading some of my new Christmas books before bed. It was a lovely Christmas Day!

Bye for now!
